02/10/2025 – Self-referral system for health coaches
Patients can self-refer to see one of our health coaches for help with their weight, cholesterol, and/or diabetes.
02/10/2025 – Mounjaro weight loss injections
Due to guidance from our local ICB, the Mounjaro injection for weight loss is not yet available at the surgery. NHS England have released a strict policy for at least the first two years who can have the injection.
To be eligible, you have a BMI of 40 or higher and at least four of the five following conditions, which will already have been diagnosed by your GP or another medical professional:
• Hypertension
• Dyslipidaemia
• Obstructive sleep apnoea
• Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD)
• Type 2 diabetes mellitus
